This report from Express news shows the sad situation of Pakistan. Students in the name of “cultural show” have been only conducting dance parties. This video shows how girls and boys are dancing together. The girls not even thinking about anything are dressed very inappropriately and dancing vulgarly on Indian Tunes. Is this what our religion teaches us? Is this what our culture is all about? At one time Pakistan’s culture was supposed to be one of the best in the world, but now look how low we have fell.
The event was supposed to show the culture of the four provinces of our country. I am sure none of our provinces have girls dancing openly in public as their culture.
The students when interviewed were not feeling ashamed, but instead they felt happy as being part of the “culture”. This was not the reason our beautiful country was founded for.
I hope very soon our youth understands that they are not promoting our culture but are destroying it.
